Member Spotlight: Trayce T.

 

Trayce SPENGA MemberspotlightOur May Member of the Month is Trayce Thom! We are so excited to highlight Trayce as she has been coming to SPENGA throughout her pregnancy. Trayce came to her last session last week and is due any day now! Here is what Trayce has to say about SPENGA!

 

How did SPENGA work with your pregnancy?

“I loved it and recommend it to everyone who is pregnant. Modifications are easy to make and often offered by all instructors. I was able to listen to my body and make the workout as high or low impact as I wanted, but being able to show up and have the workout planned- made working out during this pregnancy MUCH easier than just going to the gym.”

 

What originally brought you to SPENGA?

“I love the idea of getting three workouts in one. Being able to target cardio, strength, then always stretch at the end was enticing to me. Seeing as I often leave outstretching.  Then as I met friends through classes and staff were so encouraging and friendly, I never wanted to not come! The sense of community is my favorite part.

 

Trayce moved to NC to be closer to her husband's roots; he was raised here. They have a ton of friends in the area and it felt like home right away. Outside of Spenga- you'll find Trayce drinking a green juice, FaceTiming her mom, chasing a toddler, doing Pilates, deep in a DIY project, listening to live music, hanging with girlfriends, or indulging in some new Apple TV/Netflix/Hulu show with (when I'm not preggo) a glass of red wine and her husband, Addison.

 

We will miss Trayce over the next couple of months but we cannot wait until she is ready to get back to SPENGA!! Sending you lots of love
