Keep reading to find out more.

Use your Breath

We talk a lot about utilizing the breath during our yoga session and it’s for good reason. Connecting your breath with movement helps to deepen the movement and allows for better results. Additionally, yogic breath can help anchor and calm the nervous system.

Enjoy Savasana

If you ever feel the pull to quickly get up from your mat at the end of session and get on with your day, take a minute to pause. Enjoying savasana at the end of your practice “seals in” (so to speak) all the work you’ve done. Your to-do list and your day can usually wait, so give yourself the gift of rest and revival in savasana.

Practice Mindfulness

Yoga is a practice of mindfulness and the more you can experience mindfulness on and off the mat, the better. Using mindfulness throughout the day allows you to tune into your body’s wants and needs which is helpful throughout your yoga a wellness journey.
